Happy birthday ScrapChat!

Wow! ScrapChat is five years old!!! It goes to show that time does fly! We're having a cyber crop this weekend to celebrate and I had the honour of setting the layout challenge; and for me it is an honour. Thanks Gyps!   :)

This is the criteria I eventually decided on ..

1.  Scraplift a layout from the gallery.
2.  Use the words "when I grow up" in the title and/or journaling.
3.  Use five different types of embellishments, one must be a handmade flower.
4.  Use five different patterned papers.
5. The number five to appear on the layout somewhere.

LOL yep I decided to keep with the 'five' theme seeing as it's ScrapChat's fifth birthday we're celebrating! This is the layout I created for the challenge ..

When I grow up
products used:
patterned paper - MME Lost & Found "Rosy" collection
alphas - Making Memories felt alphas, Webster's Pages "Spring Market" alphabet stickers
embellishments - Collage Press die-cut journaling  tags, Prima flowers (Annette collection French Silk), 7Gypsies "Gypsy Market" seam binding, A Lil Somethin' butterfly, washi tape, handmade flower 'by Alz', Kaiser rhinestones, feather
fun stuff - Fiskars border punch (ribbon weaving), Kaisercraft Sheet Music clear stamp
messy stuff - StazOn ink pad (Saddle Brown), Perfect Pearls Mists (forever red)
other - black Sharpie

I'm not able to post a photo of the layout I scrap lifted but it was by my friend Michelle (heh Chelle!) and titled "My life". You can check it out via this link My Life. You can see more of Chelle's awesome scrapping on her blog Memoirs of Michelle. Thanks for the inspiration Chelle!

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend. Oh and happy 5th birthday ScrapChat!!!!!   :)
