Family .. with Words Or Whatever

Morning peeps!

This layout came together in a round about way. Last month on Facebook, Words Or Whatever had a give away with a twist. If you sent in a stamped, self addressed envelope, they would send you some free chipboard. But you then needed to create a layout with it the following month, share your layout on social media, and it would then be entered into a challenge of sorts. I thought 'why not?' ..

Family

I'm so glad I did. I was able to use all the pieces on my layout except one, and only because in the gigantic mess I made on my desk I couldn't find it! The chipboard pieces I've used include ..

*   the frame in the top left of my cluster (Wink of Stella pen on gesso)
*   the two overlapping hearts in the bottom right of my cluster (stamped over Wink of Stella pen on gesso)
*   the inside of the frame beneath my title (stamped over Wink of Stella pen on gesso)
*   the word family (Wink of Stella pen on gesso, covered with Glossy Accents)

The only piece of chipboard I couldn't find was a hash symbol which I had planned to use in an extended title "family will always be #1". As it turns, out, the shorter title works better. Oh and I'm still to find the hash symbol, despite having cleaned up my scrapping area. LOL. It will turn up one day I'm sure.

I had a lot of fun creating this layout, dusting off some old techniques here and there. Oh and using my new, gigantic, background stamp! Thanks Words Or Whatever for the opportunity to play with some of your chipboard.

'Til next time, happy scrapping!
