Scrapbook Savvy Cyber Crop .. blind scrapping challenge

As mentioned in my previous post, Sandy and I scrapped up a storm during the Scrapbook Savvy Cyber Crop on the weekend. This next layout was a blind scrapping challenge. We were given a list of materials we would need and then given step by step instructions on where to place them. Its a little bit like playing a game of Chinese Whispers and is soooooo much fun. I'm glad that when we got to the embellishing part we were pretty much given free rein to 'make the layouts our own'.

Ted

I love how this layout came together. Once I had my specified lists of materials collated it was so super quick to make. I wonder if I might have a go at putting together some 'blind scrapping kits' using old layouts for my 'instructions'. Could be a bit of fun on a cold, grey, wintry, Melbourne day when I feel doing something scrappy without actually scrapping. Hmm.

The D-lish Scraps products I've used on this layout include .. Washi TapeFlair Buttons from the Forest Friends pack, Freckled Fawn Wood Chips (Birds), Freckled Fawn Enamel Dew Drops, a light blue Silk & Organza Mini Heirloom Flower, and velvet flowers which I think may have been discontinued but you can find lots of beautiful fabric flowers in store HERE.

Thanks again for the inspiration (and fun!!!) Scrapbook Savvy!!!   :)
