UFPs with D-lish Scraps

Back in 2011 at ScrapChat I started a weekly challenge journal based on the theme "favourites". I think I got about halfway through the year before I started to fall further and further behind and eventually threw in the towel. LOL I think we can all relate to those sorts of projects yes?! So anyways I found the journal the other day when I was organising my albums and I decided I was going to finish it this year. Coincidentally, I'm participating in the One Little Word project with Ali Edwards for the first time this year and my chosen word is DO, so it kind of seemed appropriate that as I've been mulling over my OLW in my head, I came across an unfinished project (UFP) and my first thought was to do something about finishing it!!

The journal is not quite 8.5x11" and using nothing but old patterned papers from my stash (which desperately needs downsizing) and products from D-lish Scraps I'm delighted to share two new pages for my 2011 (& 2014 LOL!) favourites journal ..

I do
favourite piece of jewellery

The D-lish Scraps products I've used on this page include the Just Add Paper Kit All That Glitters and some white Gardenias which I sprayed with Glimmer Mist. Gotta love the Just Add Paper Kits!

Seasons
favourite season (of course I couldn't choose just one LOL)

I loved putting this layout together because I just grabbed various bags of embellishments from my D-lish Scraps stash and had fun embellishing the small vellum bags to suit each of the seasons.

The D-lish Scraps products I've used include .. Washi Tape, clear Motex Tape, white PVC Doilies, small Vellum Bags, Memory Maze Chipboard (Rows of Birds), coffee Hand Dyed MuslinBitty Blooms in various colours, Freckled Fawn Wood Chips (Hearts), Freckled Fawn Paper Clips (Silver Arrows), Journal Its by Star (Kraft Word Tickets), various Flag & Flair Packs, and Wood Veneer Flowers.

Stay tuned for more 2014 Favourites Journal pages coming soon!   :)

PS: To help me kickstart scrapping in an 8.5x11" format again, I used some PageMaps sketches from January 2013. If you like working with sketches and haven't yet checked out PageMaps what are you waiting for LOL?!?!!!   ;)
