Tis an oldie but a goodie ...

Basic Grey's Sweetpea Alyssa that is. Seriously, how old is this paper collection? Does anyone even remember when it was released? From memory I bought it on sale around the time I started scrapping almost seven years ago. Could that possibly be right LOL? Whatever the case, probably because we don't have children, it has survived for the most part in my stash. Which I am so so thankful for because it just happened to be exactly what I needed for a photo of my girlfriend Tammi's little girl (heh Tim Tam and Matilda!).

Family treasures
products used:
Basic Grey Sweetpea Alyssa patterned paper: Rosewater, Scattered Flowers and Sweet Blossoms; Making Memories tiny alphas - brown ledger; Making Memories velvet brads; Purple Pumpkin small deer buttonYo-Yos by Alz (various fabrics, Stampin' Up! neutrals designer buttons and embroidery cotton); Washi Tape; Stampin' Up! - linen thread and French Foliage stamp set; vintage lace, crochet doily, fabric, Ozecraft Edwardian Pearl dye; Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose

I've used Purple Pumpkin's August sketch challenge sketch for this layout ...

The sketch was designed by Melinda Thompson (thanks for a great sketch Melinda!!) and I found it super easy to work with (the mark of a good sketch wouldn't you say?). For more details about Purple Pumpkin's sketch challenge check it out HERE.

Oh and the photo was taken by the ever fabulous Tiff Firth who's work you can find HERE. By the way, isn't the photo Tiff has used for her banner simply stunning??

Thanks for dropping by and to those of you who leave comments ... thanks a million ... they make my day!  :) xx
