I've recently joined the Scrap Matrix design team and, consequently, have been scrapping up a storm, albeit a small(ish) one. Anyways Scrap Matrix sponsors a couple of online challenge blogs and this month, are one of the sponsors over at Kraft+. I love the Kraft+ challenges and this month's was a whole heap of fun and led to this ..
xoxo
The challenge is to use something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue ..
As we all know, I love any challenge that tells me what I have to use product wise and this one was no different.
My something old was a Collections 2007 patterned kraft cardstock which I've used as one of the layers behind my photo. I also used some Kaisercraft black pearls. I don't know if Kaisercraft still do the pearl bling thing, but anyways, these were seriously ancient and I got to finish up a pack that was just hanging around collecting dust.
My something new was a Dina Wakley stamp set called Abstract Blooms which I very recently purchased from Scrap Matrix. I used the stamp set to create all my fussy cut flowers.
My something borrowed was the type of borrowing you do when you don't actually return what you've borrowed lol .. a Charms Creations heart (thanks Sandy).
Finally, my something blue .. I've used quite a few bits and pieces of blue here and there but am just going to go with my blue flowers.
What a lot of fun!!!
If this latest Kraft+ challenge strikes a chord, and you're keen to give it a go, you can find all the details you need HERE.
Happy scrapping!
Cheers .. Alz :)
