(remember this) .. with Stuck?! Sketches

Last weekend I got to scrap with my girlfriend Sandy, which is always fun and, for the both of us, productive. Whilst Sandy works her way through scrapping commitments, I generally plod away at a few challenges. This layout was inspired by this month's challenge at Stuck?! Sketches.

Some close ups ..

Although I look at this layout now, above, as I'm typing this blog post, and can see lots of ways to add and/or improve it, you know, take it to the next level, I'm really quite happy with it. In some ways it was a cathartic layout to create. I think, although cannot be sure, that I've avoided scrapping photos from 'the chubby years' (lol) until now, so that in itself was liberating. Plus I started to feel a lot of love, and sadness, for the very, very, (very lol), much younger version of myself and the journaling and title came about quite organically as a result. Thanks for the inspiration Stuck?! Sketches.

If you want to give the Stuck?! Sketches challenge a go, you can find all the details you need HERE.

Happy scrapping!
