Us! .. with Kraft+

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending escape2create .. a scrapbooking retreat held in Port Lincoln, South Australia, hosted by two 'locals', Meredith Treloar and Amanda Hall. Another local who is invaluable to the e2c team is Sandra Wallace. I haven't got to know Meredith and Amanda as well as I would like, but Sandra? Sandra and I are mates. I adore her and think she is so, so much more than fabulous. Anyways, Sandra's latest project is the Kraft+ challenge blog. It seemed more than apt that I give the latest challenge a go.

Us!

I felt like such a dufus whilst creating this layout. In the middle of it I realised that there was more to the challenge than 'just' a sketch. LOL there was a theme too .. all that glitters. I had been going for a matte look with just a sprinkling of sequins. Oops! Fortunately my dear, dear friend (and traveling companion) Sandy had bought her Wink of Stella pens with her which meant I could add some shimmer and sparkle to my title and embellishments.

GB loves this layout. As my creative director its always nice to have his 'approval'. LOL he was like "what happened to the 'hottie' I married" and I was like "so you haven't changed at all since this photo was taken?" LOL!

Anyways, if you think you'd like to give the current Kraft+ challenge a go, you can find all the details HERE. Have fun and don't forget the "all that glitters" bit!!!
