A match made in heaven

My niece Mia loves her dog Levy. Mia wanted a dog just about her entire life. Desperately. Her mum on the other hand was not so keen, seeing as she was scared of dogs 'n all. What to do? Eventually her mum caved and a goofball of a Golden Retriever came to live with Mia and her family. Mia being the free spirited, delightfully enthusiastic, fun loving girl she was (and still is) named her goofball .. wait for it LOL .. Levy Angel Ernie (at least I think that's it).

This layout celebrates their connection ..

products used:
cardstock - Prismatics White, Core'dinations Jillian Dot
alphas - American Crafts Thickers Daiquiri (Foam, White)
embellishments - Prima Flowers (Tasha Frost and Dotted Miss Molly), Washi tape, Kitty Robot sculpey buttons, Queen & Co brads, bakers twine
fun stuff - FolkArt acrylic paint (627 Tangerine, 735 Lemon Custard)

I used ScrapChat's March challenge (yes I know LOL .. I'm just a tad late!) for my inspiration. We had to create a project with the following criteria:

Colours - blue, orange and yellow
Design requirement - paint
Something extra - Chevron pattern
Lifelines - white, black, cream, kraft

I was also inspired by my buddy Michelle Jamieson (heh Chelle!) when creating this layout. Back in January Chelle created a layout for Polly! Scrap Kits for one of their challenges .. to use paper scraps to create your layout. Chelle used some of her scraps to create a border around her layout and I thought it looked fabulous! Here's a link to Chelle's awesome layout .. Crazy Faces. Thanks Chelle!!!   :)
