Show Us Your Stuff - January

I am loving purple at the moment!  :O  Did I just say that LOL?! Going back years and years to when my bedroom was redecorated for me as a child of about 11 or 12, I have disliked the colour purple. I remember my parents taking me shopping for wallpaper and me selecting a design with a white background with dainty pink roses scattered across it. We came home with a bold, 70s, lurid purple patterned paper. From there the purple just grew .. lampshade, curtains, rugs, bedspreads, cushions, bean bag, tissue box cover. LOL you name it and it was purple. Not at all what I had imagined in my romantic girl's heart and mind ..

However Pantone has declared Radiant Orchid the Color of the Year for 2014 and consequently purple is creeping into my stash and I'm loving it!!!!!! Still can't believe I'm saying that LOL!! I must be just another sheep in the flock huh?!   ;)
