Faithful companion
I loved the sketch the uber talented Nadia Cannizzo created ..
The theme was an interesting one .. journey. I found it a little tricky as the sketch was perfect for my photos but how did they relate to the theme? This is one of the things I love about this challenge site .. it really makes me stop and think about why I'm scrapping the photos. In this case I was scrapping my 'faithful companion' with whom I'm ever so grateful to be sharing life's journey. I ended up adding my journaling to a tag placed in a chevron bag from D-lish Scraps tucked in behind my photos. My journaling reads ..
"All of life is a journey. Which paths we take, what we look back on, and what we look forward to, is up to us. We determine our destination, what kind of road we will take to get there, and how happy we are when we get there. ~ unknown
I am so, so happy to be sharing this time in my life's journey with you."
I've used lots and lots of yummy D-lish Scraps products including .. Washi Tape, Hand-dyed Muslin, Wooden Star Buttons (Dark), Freckled Fawn Dew Drops, Skipping 5 Puffy Things, Chevron Bag, Freckled Fawn Wood Chips, Flairs, Freckled Fawn Paper Clips, Motex black tape, Journal Its, Flag & Flair Pack, and Hand-dyed Seam Binding. Phew LOL!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get this layout completed in time for the challenge deadline (midnight on 25th October) but keep an eye out at Once Upon A Sketch for November's challenge!! :)
