Let's Get Shabby - Challenge #49

The current (but ending midnight tonight!) challenge at Let's Get Shabby is about seasons. I've had a photo of my niece Mia at the snow hanging around on my desk for a while and this week has been particularly grey and gloomy here in Melbourne so I decided to go with Winter.

Let's Get Shabby Inspiration Board

I loved the inspiration board and could have created a layout for each season. I even thought of creating a layout for my 'favourites' journal about all four seasons. I might still do. In the end, the glittery, shimmering, frosty winter image was the one that really inspired me to get scrapping. Thanks for the inspiration girls!!   :)

PPS: I am so loving how mixed media backgrounds provide the perfect opportunity for using up old patterned paper. The background for this layout was created with papers from the Basic Grey Dasher collection!!!   ;)

    Just saw this on Pinterest and it really caught my eye, and then I saw it was yours!!! So so stunning....you've captured the feel so beautifully and there are lots of interesting yummy bits and pieces to look at. I would love to share a scrap session with you and let some of that mojo you're throwing around rub off on me. Too bad we live so far apart! xx
